Beginning with a single lead player "struggling" through Chopsticks for 12 bars, this playful piece launches right into a soca. The leads and doubles get some good practice in eighth note runs while the bass alternates between a Latin and a standard Caribbean beat. After a restatement of the well known theme, the band builds to a Beethoven finish. This is lots of fun for players and audiences.

Difficulty: Medium (great for junior high, high school & college steel bands)
