This is a fun, up-tempo piece that can be taught to older beginners or be used as a step-up piece for younger students that are ready for more syncopated rhythms and faster chord changes. The higher rate of chord changes used in this piece also makes it a great opportunity to learn about basic improvisation skills.

A few notes: Fill measures are marked in the Drum Set part. The form of the piece can be extended based on the discretion of the director. All rolls are notated in the score. If there are extra performers to play extra percussion parts, here are some recommendations to add to the groove (Use the hits in the Drum Set part to determine where the engine needs to stop in the music and then restart)

Difficulty: Easy/Medium (great for junior high, high school, and college steel bands)

Instrumentation: tenor/double seconds/cello-guitar/bass/drum set/percussion
