Cool Groove #1 has a 1960’s Rock vibe to it.  It starts off with a repetitive bass line and drum beat that sets up the feel of the song.  Guitar/cellos and double 2nds join in with the simple strum.  The happy-go-lucky melody is played by the tenors and double tenors, but on the B section of the song the sections reverse roles, giving everyone something interesting to play.  Good for working on the balance within the band.
