"Bedrock" is a very simple rock chart. The title derives from the idea of a bedrock to serve as a foundation for a great building.  jumbie jam and tenors feature a melody with a half-note and whole-note phrase in B and a contrasting eighth-note and quarter-note phrase in C. At F, the double seconds, triple guitars, and bass pans drop out and play stick clicks on the backbeat. Ensure students lock into the tempo at F. If playing with a full steel band, ensure that the strumming pans listen to and balance with the melody in the jumbie jam and tenors.
