This nice, easy calypso is an arrangement for full steel band based on the same song from 7 Mile Isle’s Just Now CD. A percussion break in the middle allows a soloist such as a conga player to improvise while the engine room keeps playing the calypso groove. If your group only has a drum set player then the percussion break can be played with just drum set. Following the percussion break, the steel drums are then layered back into the song starting with low pans. This will showcase the range of the steel band.

Difficulty: Medium (great for high school and college steel bands)
