Mr. Eric B. Schrader is a band director in the Canon-McMillan School District, Canonsburg, PA.  At Canon-McMillan High School, Mr. Schrader serves as the Assistant Director of the Marching Band, as well as directing the Pan and Percussion Ensemble, Musical Pit, Jazz Band, and Symphonic Band.   His ensembles have received consistent "Superior" ratings during his tenure at CMHS.  He is also the assistant director at Canonsburg Middle School helping with the concert, symphonic, steel drum bands, and lessons.  

Prior to Canon-McMillan, Mr. Schrader taught in the Commodore Perry and Greenville Area School Districts.  At Greenville, his High School Steel Drum Band performed at the PMEA conference in 2006 at Valley Forge and in 2010 in Pittsburgh. They also performed at the MENC All Eastern Festival in Providence, Rhode Island in 2009 and in Baltimore, Maryland in 2011.  

Mr. Schrader has served as guest conductor with the Lawrence High School County Band,  Washington County High School Band, Beaver County Junior High Honors Band and Mercer County Junior High County Band (twice).  In 2010, Mr. Schrader was inducted as a member of Phi Beta Mu, an international bandmasters fraternity.  He earned his B.S. M. Ed., Magna Cum Laude from Duquesne University and his M.M. from Youngstown State University.  

Eric resides in Washington, PA with his wife Lori, daughter Alexis, and two cats.
