The year 2000 is significant whether we see it as the end of a century or the beginning of another. The threat of disruption to computers because of the Y2K problem has been the cause for some anxiety but by and large we have made the transition without any major mishaps. There have been many celebrations worldwide with each country devising their own method of heralding this special year. My humble contribution is this booklet of fourteen "pan songs" which some have acclaimed to be "the only music in town." After being pleasantly besieged with requests to have this booklet available before Carnival I have managed to compile it as early as January 2000.
