2nd to None is a soca composed for a tenor pan soloist, combining both the melody and harmonic strum patterns into a single part.  A great challenge and a fun piece for anyone, it is designed to help players learn how to accompany themselves and play tunes without any background support.  2nd to None is also available in a version for Steel Band, as well as a Steel Band and Tenor Soloist.

Difficulty: Medium (great for high school & college players)

Instrumentation: tenor, two mallets/best performed with a C tenor
