"Boombox" is an energetic piece featuring four common concert band percussion instruments. There is a constant groove throughout the piece with a few curveball spots to keep it interesting for the performer and listener. Each player will be challenged technically in ways unique to their instrument. "Boombox" is a fun piece to play and a great way to train percussionists on common concert band instruments at the same time! Time Signature: 4/4. Tempo: 120 bpm. Duration: 3' 50".

Snare and tom parts utilize the drum and the rim while the triangle and tambourine parts will be challenged with following note duration and syncopated rhythms. Several dynamic moments occur throughout the piece and each instrument is featured at different times.
