Arranged for Steel Band by Sune Borregaard

This is an up-tempo calypso with a catchy hook line.  The title refers to Carnival time in Trinidad and Tobago and was written for the 2006 Carnival, where Skiffle Bunch made it to the finals with an arrangement of this tune.  This arrangement however, is not a panorama arrangement, but lies close to the original soca version.  It’s a great opening tune for concerts.  It has a lot of energy and also a quite, catchy chorus.

Difficulty: Medium (great for high school and college steel bands)

Instrumentation: tenor/double tenor/double seconds/cello/bass/ drumset
