This tune opens with a two bar phrase on the bass that repeats throughout the A section.  The pans and marimba enter with long rolls and become more rhythmic and syncopated as the melody develops.  The tune as a whole is kinda funky and kinda pretty, hence the title.  The chord progression is well suited for beginning soloists.
