Pelham Goddard and myself put together "A Happy Song" last year, which the Exodus steel band used to capture the coveted National Panorama Prize as well as the Caribbean steel band competition. Finding a good tune to defend the title seemed an ominous task but somehow we appear to have exceeded our wildest wishes with the production of "Good News." Local entertainment reporters have hailed it a gem both for the lyrical twist of using current affairs to relate to the musical vibes of the panyard and for its musical quality.
