This fun arrangement of Blue Swede’s version of Hooked on a Feeling is great for developing ensembles. With basic strumming patterns in the Double Seconds/Cellos, syncopated melodies and guitar riffs in the Tenors/Double Tenors and a rhythmic bass part, you can easily get students of all skill levels involved. You could even start it off with an intro of “Ooga-chaka, ooga-ooga-ooga-chaka…”

Difficulty: Easy (great for junior high, high school & college steel bands)

Instrumentation: tenor/double tenor/double second/cello/bass/drum set
