“Keep On Moving” is written in a way to help the beginning to intermediate pan player learn some new rhythms. It features the Guaguanco, or Cascara rhythm in the drum set and percussion section, while the bass plays the Tumbao rhythm. These two rhythms blend very well to create a fluent ‘Latin’ feel. The tune has some nice jazzy chords, and the melody changes from a relatively melancholy A part, to a happy, upbeat B section.

Difficulty: Easy/Medium (great for junior high, high school, and college steel bands)
