Thank you for the kind words about the piece and the review! You are correct that you will get two versions of this piece. The two versions of the piece are identical except in different keys. The c minor version is for two double pans while the e minor version is for a tenor pan and double pan. You get both versions when you purchase the piece and was done to give more players an opportunity to perform. This is a beautiful duet I'm having 2 of my students play in my community college steel band. The piece is challenging enough without it being a huge endeavour.
The c minor version part 1 asks the lead pan to play a low Bb which they do not have. This duet will work with a lead and a double pan in the key of e minor, or 2 doubles in the key of c minor. I also think you can do this with pan and mllet percussion and have it come out great too.

This is a beautiful little duet that is chllenging enough but not a huge endeavor to learn. I'm having 2 of my community college steel band students perform this.
The only thing to watch for is the note ranges for a standard low "c" lead pan.
The arrangments that will work are:
1) e minor version for lead pan and a double pan.
2) c minor version for 2 double pan
