This chart is great for introducing several concepts to young musicians. It teaches the "reggae" style to the drum set player. It introduces soloing in d minor using the blues scale, and it helps players to understand the reggae "groove". A cool melody line in the top end complements a repetitive ‘low end’ figure. This chart is wide open for solos and it sounds great in a just a few rehearsals.
