This composition for steelband was inspired by walks to and from the "Savannah" in a pair of sandals. It was composed for the University of Akron Steel Drum Band's annual spring concert in 2003. It is an up-tempo soca with a short "jam" section featuring the tenors and double tenors. The steelband can be augmented with various "Engine Room" type percussion, such as: cowbell, congas, brake drums (irons), scratcher, shaker, or tambourine..

Difficulty: Medium (great for high school and college steel bands)
