Working as a freelance percussionist, Chris has experience both in performing professionally and teaching privately. He has also traveled to Trinidad on several occasions, resulting in firsthand experience and a greater understanding of steel pan in its original soca and calypso styles.Over the years, Chris’s experiences in numerous solo performances have led him to develop a unique compositional style that explores the capabilities of simultaneously providing both melody and accompaniment on the tenor pan.
