Stevie Wonder’s songs are great for steelband, and this melody is challenging and fun to play.  In the “tutti” section, the whole band plays the syncopated sixteenth note phrases in unison.  Bass players are spared having to play all the notes but outline the harmony add some rhythmic energy in “the holes.”  The tenors use the full range of the instrument - including some of those high notes that don’t get used very often.

Difficulty: Medium/Hard (great for high school & college steel bands)
