"Tribute to Spree Simon" was composed by Aldwyn "Lord Kitchener" Roberts in 1975. The lyrics tell the story of the legend of steel pan “inventor” Winston “Spree” Simon.  This arrangement includes a section for improvisation, a challenging bass line, and interesting harmonies over a laid back calypso groove.

Difficulty: Medium (great for high school & college steel bands)

Instrumentation: tenor/double tenor/double seconds/cello/bass/drum set
